KABA / SAFLOK INSYNC · GREATER BOSTON
Your InSync key, with a local backup.
If you’re searching for a Saflok InSync key copy in Boston, you probably already know this isn’t a standard hardware-store key. Fob N Key focuses on compatible InSync keys (also called Kaba or Saflok InSync), with local appointments and regular copies from $50.
You bring a working original. We check whether it can be duplicated. Your original stays with you, without a trip through the mail.

Start with what’s on your key.
Look for Saflok, Kaba, dormakaba, or InSync markings. The insert-style key shown here has a broad plastic head and a rounded tip. A clear photo of the front and back helps identify yours. Not every key carrying these names uses the same technology, so a brand name or photo alone doesn’t guarantee compatibility.
How a local copy works
- Tell us the key’s markings and your Greater Boston neighborhood.
- Send clear front and back photos when you email your enquiry. Leave your address, apartment number, and access codes out of the photos.
- After compatibility is confirmed, arrange an appointment and bring your working original.
- The first InSync Key is $50, key with Integrated Tap Entry $75, or InSync Key + Tap Fob set $55. Additional copies are $20, $45, or $25 respectively. Check every door and reader function you need.
Additional-copy prices apply to the same original key and copy option at the same appointment. Different originals, mixed options, or later visits are quoted separately.
What about the lobby or elevator?
A building key may serve more than one reader or system. Tell us whether your key opens your apartment, lobby, garage, elevator, or other shared areas. We’ll discuss what can be copied before arranging service. Don’t assume every function transfers just because one door works.
Need a replacement after losing your key?
Copying requires a working original that you’re authorized to duplicate. For a lost, disabled, or broken InSync key, your property manager or building access administrator is the right starting point.
